Blanche Roy Waldron, 81, of Waterville, Maine passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at Evergreen, the Alzheimers unit of the Woodlands, where she had been a resident for the past 5 years. Blanche had such an intense love for her family that she fought to remain to the very end. She was loved by all who knew her. Blanche was ever the caregiver. She always wanted to do more for others than anyone could do for her. The staff at Evergreen became extended family members. They cared for and loved our mother as we did. We will be eternally grateful for all they have done, not only for our beautiful Mom, but for our family as well. In our hearts is the staff from Hospice. Patsy, Sarah, Lee, Tammy, Julienne, thank you for your love and support and helping our Mom pass with comfort and dignity. Blanche was born April 8, 1929, in Van Buren, Maine the daughter of George and Aurore Roy. The family moved to the Waterville area in the early 1940s. She was educated in Winslow schools.
