E. Joyce Pelletier Obituary (1936 - 2013)

June 11, 2013 Oakland:Joyce Pelletier 76, died Monday June 10, 2013 at her Oakland home. She was born in Oakland on June 18, 1936 the daughter of John and Gladys (Eastman) Bucknam. Joyce grew up in Oakland and attended William High School. Joyce was well know for her decorated cakes, which she baked and decorated for all occasions. She was a member of the Sunshine Club, Oakland Lions/Lioness Club, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Joyce was very family orientated, loving spending time with all her close and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband Leonard Pelletier, and a daughter Barbara Pelletier. Surviving are a daughter Betina Pelletier and her partner Dan Liljegren of Oakland, a son Bruce Pelletier and wife Allison of Bingham, brothers; John Bucknam of Somerville, Robert Bucknam of Clinton, Ronnie Bucknam, and Steven Bucknam of Oakland, and David Bucknam of Belgrade, sisters Helen Bridges and Ellen Weeks of Oakland, grandchildren; Monique Pelletier, Hollie Butler, Amy Pelletier, Joanna Quirion, and Jeanne Pelletier, great grandchidren; Tony, Justin, Ron, Cody, Alana, Brendon, and Rick, many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Thursday June 13 at Wheeler Funeral Home 26 Church Street Oakland. A funeral service will be 11:00 AM on Friday June 14 at Notre Dame Church Silver Street Waterville. Burial will follow at the Lewis Cemetery in Oakland.
