September 14, 2012 Oakland: Madolyn A. Hawes 68, died Thursday September 13, 2012 at her Sawtelle Road home. She was born in Waterville on March 21, 1944. She attended schools in Oakland, graduating from Williams High School. She later received CRMA training and worked many years in nursing homes and private in home care. Madolyn s greatest pleasure in life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was generally a home body but enjoyed going for rides, lawn sales and going out to eat. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Hawes, and infant daughter Candace. Surviving are 2 sons, Robert A. Reynolds and companion Mischelle Ellis of Hallowell, and Scott W. Reynolds of Oakland, a daughter Tammy Crowell and husband Allen of Fairfield. Grandchildren; Sarah Reynolds and companion Guy Williams Jr of Oakland, Heather Furbush of Richmond, Robert Reynolds Jr. Of Hallowell, Colletta Crowell of Waterville, Bailey Ellis and Brandon Smith of Hallowell, great grandchildren Nevaeh Campbell and Lillianna Furbush of Richmond and Patrick Crowell of Waterville, several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Madolyn and Paul will be 11:00 AM on Thursday September 20 at the Sawtelle Cemetery, Pond Road Sidney.
