FAIRFIELD, MAINE—Theresa Marie (Fournier) Hawkins, of Fairfield, Maine, went to be with her Lord and Savior as she passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. She was born at home in Winslow, Maine, on March 24, 1935, the daughter of Donald J. and Armande M. (Duguay) Fournier. Theresa graduated from Waterville High School, class of 1953. She was employed by Wyandotte Woolen Mill for over 20 years. Theresa was a member of the Waterville American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Waterville Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed Bingo and playing card with the girls, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father, Donald J. Fournier; her step-father, Charles Burgess; her son, Donald Joseph Thibodeau; and her siblings, Julie Whitney, John Fournier, Carl Denis, and Arsene Denis. Theresa will be sadly missed by her husband, Robert D. Hawkins; her mother, Armande M. Duguay Burgess; her children, Mark N. Thibodeau and his companion, Chris Aucoin, of Shawmut, Maine, Stephen A. Thibodeau of Fairfield, Maine, and Diane M. Thibodeau Collins and her husband, Bill, of Arkansas; her step-son, Robert Hawkins of Oakland, Maine; her step-grandson, Christopher Hawkins, of Oakland, Maine; her siblings, Joseph Fournier of Fairfield, Maine, Robert Denis and his wife, Pat, of Oakland, Maine, and Sheila Day and her husband, Robert, of Oakland, Maine; her grandchildren, Dustin Donald Thibodeau and his fiancé, Misty Carrow, of Fairfield, Maine, Donald A, Thibodeau and his wife, Stephanie, of Florida, Kaylea M. Collins of Arkansas, and Kelsie A. Collins of Arkansas; her great grandchild, Lennon Joseph Thibodeau; a special niece, Linda Jo Andrews and her husband, Larry, of Embden Pond, Maine; her brother in-law, Lee Hawkins and his wife, Brenda, of Waterville, Maine; and several additional nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Visiting hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, April 26 at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St., Fairfield, Maine, where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 27 with Pastor Steve Donahue officiating. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery, Grove St., Waterville, Maine.
