CHELSEA, ME--Willis Waldo Grover passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015, in his home, in Chelsea, ME, where his wife, Nancy, and Hospice cared for him. Willie and Nancy have one son, Daniel that resides in New York City. Willis was born February 19, 1935, in Avon, ME. Willie was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. He worked at International Paper until the strike and retired from Bath Iron Works. During his retirement, he was a Handy Man at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church where he is a member. He enjoyed drinking coffee, telling stories, watching the birds, reading poetry and exercising. Willie also has one daughter, Darlene. Darlene and her husband, Matthew Bailey have one son, James. Willie also has a son, David who has three children, Tyler, Jessica and Ashley, who has one son, Wyatt. Willie was predeceased by his son, Dennis; and an infant daughter. Willie's funeral will take place at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Prince of Peace located on 209 Eastern Ave. in Augusta, ME.
